In today’s Time Out we continue to wind the clock back with the pictures and stories that happened 20 years ago to the day.

Do you recognise any of these photos?

What were you doing 20 years ago?

Here we see members of the Tilgate Youth Centre and the Dulux Dog and Diane-Louise Jordan, from Blue Peter.

The group painted murals which were sponsored by a Dulux Award.

One picture shows Laura Avery, of Furnace Green, who was then 11, hanging out with the Dulux Dog and Blue Peter’s Diane-Louise Jordan.

They had been painting a mural at Tilgate Youth Centre, Crawley, which was sponsored by a Dulux Award. We have another picture of the event centre top.

Is Laura still artistic? We’d love to know.

We also have an entrant in the Volkswagen rally at Madeira Drive, some of the cast of Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Daisey Cheyne, Elizabeth Lake and Lily Friend, 12-year-old pupils from Priory School, Lewes, who were pied to raise money for Children In Need.

One image also shows pupils from Dorothy Stringer School, Bizzy Docherty, Zoe Michen, Lauren Azor, Kayleigh Wells, Zahra Rahman and May Atkinson with their line dancing teacher, Carolyn Taylor, who all took part in a sponsored line dance in November 1998.

If you recognise yourself in any of the other pictures, please get in touch.
