A TEENAGE boy attacked a pensioner outside a school.
The 72-year-old man, who has a heart condition, was knocked to the ground and kicked.
It happened outside Eastbourne Academy in Brodrick Road, Hampden Park, Eastbourne at 3.15pm on Friday.
The man slowed his car down to allow a girl to cross the road ahead of him.
As he did so, he heard a bang on his vehicle.
He stopped and got out to ask a boy who was nearby if he had been responsible for the noise.
The boy knocked the man to the ground and then kicking him, leaving him with cuts and bruises and suffering from shock.
The boy was white, in his teens, about about 5ft8in tall, of medium build and with fair hair.
He was wearing a dark jacket and light-grey tracksuit bottoms.
Call police on 101.
