A WOULD-BE robber stalked a man on the street before jabbing a blade into his back and demanding money.
The 64-year-old victim said he was walking along York Road in Worthing when he noticed a man was looking at him “for some moments”.
Police said the attacker put a “sharp pointed article” into the small of the man’s back during the attack at 6pm on October 7.
But he refused to hand over cash, and after a row the suspect walked away empty-handed.
The suspect is described as 5ft 6ins, medium build, wearing a red top and beige trousers.
Anyone who recognises him should call 101 or report it on the Sussex Police website, quoting incident reference number 866 of 07/10.
