THIS year's Devizes Eisteddfod which starts tomorrow (Nov 15) is set to be the biggest since it was started in 1946.
Musical director Michael Johnson said: "There have been increases in the numbers taking part in all parts of the festival with a notable growth in speech and drama classes.
"As last year dance classes have been over-subscribed. Dancers will visit Lavington School from all over the south of England on November 24 and 25."
Music, speech and drama classes start today. Choral singing will take place today in St John's Church with juniors in the morning and seniors in the afternoon.
