In our article of November 14 2018, concerning the case of Daniel Lewis, sentenced at Lewes Crown Court on November 3 on drugs charges we stated as follows: Geordie Shore glamour model Aimee Spencer plunged to her death from the kitchen window while high on a cocktail of drugs he had supplied her in July 2016. This was untrue.
The police conducted a lengthy and thorough investigation over several months to find out if Mr Lewis had any involvement in the death of Ms Spencer.
This included a full scientific investigation concerning any connection between the drugs she had taken on the day she died and all drugs found in possession of Mr Lewis.
The police found no evidence Mr Lewis had supplied any drugs to Ms Spencer or any other evidence he was responsible for or had any involvement in her tragic death.
He has never been charged with supplying drugs to Ms Spencer.
The Argus unreservedly apologises to Mr Lewis for having falsely claimed otherwise.
