THE McDonald’s restaurant in Newhaven raised £323 for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The money raised will help build and run Ronald McDonald Houses across the UK.
Ronald McDonald House Charities provide ‘home away from home’ accommodation for families of children being treated at specialist hospitals across the UK to live close by throughout their treatment.
The team at the restaurant raised the funds by organising various activities for customers and employees, including face painting, competitions and raffles.
Ismet Turen, franchisee of the Newhaven restaurant, said: “Our employees really threw themselves in to organising fundraising events, and we’re all very proud of their efforts.”
