A ENVIRONMENTAL charity is asking for votes to secure a £25,000 grant - and the deadline is Tuesday.
Beacon Hub Brighton wants to redevelop the former Golf Pavilion near Rottingdean Windmill as a visitor centre.
It needs the money from the Aviva Community Fund to get the work underway.
BBC wildlife broadcaster Chris Packham said: ‘Brighton is one of the liveliest, most interesting and cosmopolitan cities in Europe.
“It’s perched on the edge of one of the most important pieces of habitat that we have anywhere in Europe too.
“The Downs are a great repository of unique life, a beautiful landscape and a treasure trove of history and culture.”
