A MAJOR video gaming tournament is coming to Brighton in the new year.

EStars will be taking its “battle bus” across the country, making a three-day stop at the Amex, home of Brighton and Hove Albion FC.

The tournament, which will feature the 2018 gaming craze Fortnight, will come to the city between January 18 and 20.

The roving competition will be hosted at famous sporting stadiums across the country.

It starts at Glasgow’s Celtic Park Stadium on January 4, before ending at Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge on March 31.

Maeve Finnegan of EStars said: “It promises to be an engrossing extravaganza that will be spectacular for the gamers.”

Tickets go on sale at 10am on November 21, priced at £25.
