Emergency services were called to a crash in Upper Beeding
Emergency services were called after a three vehicle crash along a busy main road.
It happened at 8.40am on the A283 Shoreham Road in Upper Beeding today.
Police say two cars and a van crashed there, and motorists reported delays of 40 minutes while it was cleared.
It followed an earlier reported crash on the A27 near Lewes at 6.10am this morning, with icy weather affecting driving conditions.
A driver there had to be taken to hospital after crashing into the central reservation.
At Upper Beeding were no reported injuries, though the ambulance service and fire brigade were called.
The incident was cleared at 11.40am.
