Police have offered a £500 reward for information that leads to the capture of a wanted man.
Matthew Akehurst is wanted in connection with a "violent" offence, and is believed to have friends in Uckfield.
He is 5ft 7ins, slim, with sandy coloured hair, and knows he is wanted.
Officers say the reward is for information that leads to the 33-year-old's arrest and conviction.
Detective Constable Karen Colbran said: "He is of no fixed address, but it is believed he may be staying overnight with associates in Uckfield.
"He knows he is wanted but continues to evade arrest. Anyone found with him may be at risk of arrest for the offence of harbouring a man known to be wanted by the police."
Anyone who sees him should call 999 immediately. Other information about his whereabouts can be reported to Sussex Police online, or by calling 101 and quoting 112 of 27.10.
