AN AUTHOR who was depressed has written a new self-help book after qualifying as a psychotherapist.
Malcolm Bateup, from Shoreham, has released his book Live Your life Like You Lived It Before via publisher Austin Macauley.
It is available from retailers including Waterstones and Amazon and will be available throughout the world.
Mr Bateup previously hit the headlines in The Argus in July, when he lost his wedding ring at sea.
The community rallied together, a metal detectorist unearthed the ring on a beach.
He said: “As someone with depression I saw the benefits of talking therapy and qualified as a psychotherapist myself in 2010.
“So feel now is the time to give something back to the community and learn from mistakes I made and lead fulfilling successful lives.”
Mr Bateup felt that many books in the field are complicated and academic, and wanted to write something more accessible.
