A PUB chain has bought three star Beechwood Hall in Worthing.
Brewhouse and Kitchen says the property will undergo a comprehensive refurbishment.
Nick Earee of Fleurets, who marketed the property, said: “Beechwood Hall, situated on Wykeham Road in Worthing, previously traded as a hotel, restaurant and bar.
“It has eight en suite letting bedrooms as well as a bar and restaurant with 80 covers and also a breakfast/meeting room.”
It was built in 1829 by architect Amon Henry Wildes of Brighton, and the property is known as Swiss Cottage locally.
In 1931, the building was converted into a hotel.
