Plenty of winter cheer fills this Timeout. Twenty years ago we covered ice skating, Christmas pantomimes and town festivals. Do you recognise anyone who appears in these photos? Or perhaps you remember being at some of these events? Let us know.
Our first three pictures show some youngsters enjoying a skate after TV star David Roper, known for roles in EastEnders and The Cuckoo Waltz, opened a free ice rink of the Palace Pier.
In one photo David tries to balance on one leg, with some help from the railing on the side.
We also have The Perrymount Players rehearsing for their production of The Wind in the Willows.
Charlie Leader gives out balloons to children at the Burgess Hill Christmas Festival.
The Southern Cross Crusaders pose with what can only be described as an extremely impressive trophy haul.
And Singer Linda Nolan and actor Mark Little star in the Worthing pantomime Aladdin. Here they are with winners of the neighbourhood watch competition; Charlotte Waters, Kusia Pell, Christopher Dykes, Joanna Duncan and Charlotte Levey.
