ALBION boss Chris Hughton is happy with the haul from a hectic week – despite defeat at Burnley.

The 1-0 setback at Turf Moor followed successive wins at Huddersfield and at home to Crystal Palace.

The mid-table Seagulls are 11 points clear of the relegation zone.

Hughton told The Argus: "Overall I've got to be delighted. After the two games if we'd not turned up then it would have been an even more disappointing end to the week.

"But the fact that we had a go – I don't think I can accuse the players of not having a go – then we have got to look at the week as not bad.

"We have played 16 games now and nine of them have been away from home. I think that's a consideration as well."

Albion had 62% possession at Burnley, an unusually high figure for them away from home.

Hughton said: "You can have that possession but it's about capitalising on it.

"I was pleased with a lot of aspects of our game. The area where we could have done better, particularly in the first half, was to make more of our work in the final third.

"They are the only bits that are going to get you the goals."

Shane Duffy serves the second of a three-match suspension when Chelsea visit the Amex on Sunday (1.30).

Aaron Connolly and Viktor Gyokeres, who both travelled to Burnley but did not feature in the squad, are back in action for the under-23s against Leicester at the Lancing training complex tonight (7pm).
