A MAN found in possession of 34 individual wraps of crack cocaine has been jailed for four-and-a-half years.
Lee John Cornelius, 40, of Park Croft, Polegate, was arrested at an address in Stansted Road, Eastbourne in April this year.
He was charged and later convicted of intending to supply the Class A drug. At Lewes Crown Court on Friday he was sentenced to 54 months imprisonment, ordered to pay a £170 victim surcharge and a £200 fine.
An order was made for destruction of the seized drugs.
Later PC Dan Cloake, of Eastbourne police, welcomed the outcome and said: “Thanks to good work by officers another drug dealer has been taken off the streets.”
