A PEDESTRIAN has been hit by a van.
Portland Road in Portslade was closed both ways after an accident involving a van and a pedestrian between Portslade Train Station and Rothbury Road.
The road has now reopened, but there is very slow traffic on the A293 Northbound at Hangleton Lane.
A police spokeswoman said: "We were called at 15.52 to a collision near Olive Road on Portland Road involving a van and pedestrian.
"There were only minor injuries and the road was briefly closed."
