A HAUL of cannabis and money has been found by police after they noticed a suspicious smell.
Sussex Police stopped a car for a driving document check in Meadowview, Brighton, but noticed a smell of cannabis.
They searched the vehicle, and uncovered more than £5,500 worth of cannabis, as well as cash.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Three men aged 21, 22 and 24 all from Brighton were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug.
"They were interviewed and released under investigation."
Brighton and Hove Police posted a picture of the stash on their social media account at around 10pm yesterday.
The post said: “Prevention enforcement officers conducted a stop and search tonight and have seized a sizable quantity of cannabis and cash.
“We are making Brighton and Hove a hostile area to deal drugs.”
