POLICE have released CCTV image of a man who is wanted in connection with assaulting a woman.
The victim, 21, was with a friend outside the Regency Leisure Arcade in West Street, Brighton. Two men and a woman walked past and one of the men turned around and punched the woman in the face.
The suspect is white, aged between 18 to 21, 6ft, with short brown hair. He wore a blue Nike hoody and with a back pack. The victim suffered facial injuries and needed six hours of treatment at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.
The incident happened shortly after midnight on October 4.
PC Andre Owen said: “This was an unprovoked attack by a complete stranger but we think people who see this CCTV image may be able to put a name to him.”
