A27 closed due to flooding
A SECTION of the A27 has re-opened after it was closed due to flooding this evening.
The westbound carriageway was shut within the junction of the A280 near Patching.
Traffic was diverted via the exit and entry slip roads.
Highways England advised motorists to take care on approach and allow extra time for their journeys.
Now the road has reopened, Highways England said.
It said in a tweet: "The A27 is now OPEN within the junction of the A280 near Patching the surface water has subsided. Thank you for your patience."
