FIRE crews responded to a spate of floods as heavy rain battered the county.
Firefighters were called to fix leaks at seven properties over the weekend.
It started at 8.40am on Saturday when the Roedean crew went to Chichester Drive East in Brighton after flooding at a residential property there.
At 10.30am, firefighters from Eastbourne were called to flooding at Oriental Place in Brighton.
Then in the afternoon a crew from Hove isolated a flood at a house in Rosehill Close in Brighton at 4.20pm.
Meanwhile later that evening crews had to use a portable pump and a submersible pump to clear the rising waters at Parkstone Road in Hastings.
On Sunday, crews were called to Michel Grove in Eastbourne and to Godwin Road in Hastings.
Meanwhile in the early hours of Monday firefighters from Seaford went to a building at Greenwell Close to tackle a leak there.
