WHAT an EU mess. I agree with Paul Johnston – we have certainly been let down by our politicians and civil servants (the negotiators).

As I understand it we are paying £39 billion for a Transitional Deal.

This will entail us following all EU rules, with now no say in making or changing them.

For this privilege we will pay £10 billion per year, more than our net payments now, and to get out of this trap we will need the permission of the EU.

Why would they ever agree to us leaving when we are paying in with no say and following all their rules?

How can Mrs May say we are taking back control when we are being turned into a colony?

The plot thickens further as I hear that the EU countries are not satisfied that they may not have unrestricted access to our fishing grounds when we eventually leave.

They think we should give them our fish if we want to sell into the EU.

They have further goodies on their wishlist once we have entered the trap Mrs May has negotiated for us.

Really no self respecting person, whether red, blue or green with purple spots, could vote for this deal.

After the bloody nose they gave Cameron have they and more importantly us not learnt anything?

We have no alternative but to leave with No #Deal. As our #Remain PM and #remain #chancellor have declined to commit enough resources to prepare for this outcome it will be bumpier than it needed to be, but we have been given no alternative.
