Albion have been unfortunate in recent weeks with a few tight offside calls which have gone against them.
It has emerged they may have suffered another against Chelsea.
Replays show Marcos Alonso was offside in the middle of the six-yard box when Eden Hazard crossed for Pedro to open the scoring.
Mathew Ryan, distracted by Alonso's presence, raised his arm immediately to appeal to the assistant.
Alonso, in the position he was in with the ball crossing just in front of his path, was surely interfering with play.
They are the sort of breaks you need to go in your favour, particularly against the top sides.
Falling behind to them is more often than not fatal.
