ONLY two of Brighton Station’s ticket machines are currently working.

At about 10am this morning (December 27) passengers were forming long queues inside the station to get tickets from the two machines currently working.

The Argus:

Brighton Station normally has about two dozen machines that passengers can buy tickets from.

Train station staff are using their own machines to ease the burden of passengers.

But some were facing queues of 15 minutes.

On Twitter, Southern Rail said: “We have raised this already with station management.

“Meanwhile the ticket office can be used to purchase tickets.

“Apologies for any inconvenience caused.”
