EMERGENCY services have treated a woman at the scene of a car accident.
An ambulance crew arrived on the scene at about 10.50am this morning.
They treated a woman lying on a road near Little East Street, Lewes.
An East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 11.04am to Little East Street to reports of a pedestrian who had been struck by a car.
"Police and ambulance are in attendance.
"The casualty was left in the car of an ambulance.
"She is conscious and breathing."
A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) said: "At 10.44am we sent an ambulance to reports of a woman who was hit by a car in Little East Street, Lewes.
"The patient was treated on scene for a bruised arm and not taken to hospital."
