Sixties rockers Slade have been forced to cancel their show in Brighton after one of the band members suffered an injury.
The Merry Xmas Everybody stars were due to play Concorde 2, on Madeira Drive, on Saturday, December 29.
The show will now be rescheduled after drummer Don Powell was admitted to hospital with suspected snapped tendons.
There is no word, as of yet, on how Powell sustained the injuries but a statement from the band said he is due to have surgery today.
Black Rabbit Productions, who have helped organise the show, said that they are working with the venue and agents on a new date for the gig and hope to have more information in the near future.
They added that anyone wishing to send their well wishes to Don can do so via email on info@halcarterorg.com.
