TWO cars crashed into trees within 40 minutes of each other.
At 10.45pm on January 2, East Sussex Fire and Rescue attended a crash in Wartling Road, Pevensey, in which a car had hit a tree.
Crews made the scene safe.
Then, at 11.19pm, crews attended a crash in Crowhurst Road, Catsfield, where another car had hit a tree.
Two people had minor injuries and were assisted by the crews.
