THE king of the jungle is coming to Sussex.

Football manager Harry Redknapp, the hugely popular winner of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here 2018, will be talking about his experience in the Australian outback – and much more – as he goes on a tour of the country.

He will also be chatting about his football career.

Harry will be appearing at several venues across Sussex.

He will visit The Hawth in Crawley on June 11 and The White Rock Theatre in Hastings the following night.

He then returns to the county on September 12 with a date at the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne.

Harry proved a big hit on the gruelling reality show.

The 71-year-old beat entertainer John Barrowman and Inbetweeners star Emily Atack in the final of the competition to be crown “king of the jungle”.

His amusing anecdotes and stories about his loving relationship with wife Sandra captured the hearts of the nation – and his fellow contestants.

Speaking after his victory he said: “I’m amazed I survived three weeks.

“It was only Nick [Knowles] really who knew a bit about football – I thought it was going to be a hard couple of weeks.

“The whole group – there wasn’t one single person I could say a bad word about.”

Harry went into the jungle as someone who was mainly known among football fans.

He had previously been manager at Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Southampton and Tottenham – to name just a few – even famously winning the FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008.

Harry is also well-known for being the father of football pundit Jamie Redknapp, who stars on shows such as Sky One’s A League Of Their Own.

He was formerly father-in-law to Eternal singer Louise Nurding, who was married to Jamie from 1998 until their split in 2017.

An Audience With Harry Redknapp promises “a wealth of hilarious and fascinating stopries from his life”.

The tour kicks off on May 1 in Southend and takes in venues across the country until October. Tickets for all the shows are on sale now.
