A driver suffered serious injuries after crashing into a fence.
The accident happened at about 3.15pm today in Heathy Brow, Telscombe Cliffs.
The road was closed both ways.
The vehicle hit a wall between Ambleside Avenue and Roderick Avenue.
Police and paramedics were at the scene.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "Police were called after a car collided with a fence at the junction of Foxhill and Heathy Brow, Peacehaven, about 3.15pm on Monday.
"The driver, a man, has been taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious injuries.
"No other vehicles and no other people were involved. No further info available at this stage."
