AN IMPATIENT motorcyclist endangered pedestrians by driving on the pavement.
The driver was travelling behind a bus, but when the bus pulled over to stop they veered onto the pavement to overtake it.
A video of the incident was posted on social media yesterday, and many people commented expressing their shock at the behaviour.
One viewer labelled the driver a “moron” and another said: “Imagine if someone stepped out of their front gate at that precise moment.”
A Sussex Police spokesman said: "We are liaising with Brighton and Hove Buses in a bid to identify the vehicle and the rider involved.
"We are also keen to speak to the person who captured the footage, who may hold vital information about the incident.
"Riding a motorcycle on a pavement can be extremely dangerous and is a contravention of Section 34 of the Road Traffic Act.
"Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 377 of 17/01.
"You can also report incidents of dangerous or antisocial driving to Operation Crackdown."
