A DOOR was smashed to pieces by police officers as they took part in a drugs raid.
The property, in Zion Gardens, Brighton, was raided on Wednesday morning.
During the raid, a man was arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
Brighton and Hove Police later shared two images of the damaged doorway, which had been smashed into two pieces, on social media.
In the post, the police said: “We can show ourselves in thank-you.
“Another successful warrant executed in Brighton.”
One image showed part of the door hanging from its frame, while the door’s handle and a second part of the wooden structure can be seen leaning against a wall.
In the second, an officer is looking out of a gap in the door which had been created when police broke through into the building.
