Today’s Timeout sees us continue our look back 20 years in time.
We feature a graffitied store front, some nurses being put through training, a wannabe Masterchef winner with a tough enough day job, and an incredibly old cat.
Who do you recognise?
First we see Wendy Dearing taking a host of new recruits through their paces. This group of ex-nurses take an NHS “back to practice” session at Brighton General Hospital.
Next up is Pat Gates with her feline friend Minnie who was an incredible 24 years old at the time this was taken. She had a broken leg at the time but was fighting fit otherwise.
In his kitchen we see James Beasley, who by day is a surgeo. James appeared on the ninth series of Masterchef. Does anyone remember watching its humble beginnings in the Nineties?
And finally Peter Davey was not too impressed when his carpet store, Peter Davey Carpets, in Sydney Street was tagged with graffiti.
