ENTERTAINER John Barrowman has announced a Brighton show as part of his 2019 UK tour.

The popular musician, actor and TV presenter will embark on a 12-date tour of the country, which includes a performance at Brighton Dome on Thursday, June 27. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Wednesday, January 23.

John has most recently been in the spotlight after making it to the final three in 2018’s I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The nationwide “Fabulous” tour will see Barrowman reminisce about his 30 years on stage and screen with his favourite songs and fascinating stories from his life and career.

He said: “I can’t believe it’s been 30 years from my West End debut in Anything Goes to my Australian jungle adventures in I’m A Celebrity, and there’s been lots of fabulousness in between. I’m thrilled to celebrate this milestone.”

“I’m looking forward to meeting fans and sharing some of my favourite moments with you all.”

Barrowman rose to fame starring as Billy Crocker opposite Elaine Paige in the musical Anything Goes at the National Theatre in 1989.

Since then he has appeared in dozens of other theatre shows.

TV fans may best know him for his role as Captain Jack Harkness in the popular Doctor Who spin-off, Torchwood.

The Fabulous tour opens at the Savoy Theatre in London’s West End on Sunday, June 16, and end in St David’s Hall, Cardiff, on July 2.
