A BRAND new vegan festival is coming to Sussex.
Vegan Festival Eastbourne takes place on January 25 from 10am to 3.30pm at Kings Restaurant, East Sussex College.
The college has teamed up with Sussex Vegan to host the town’s first festival for those who don’t eat animal products.
It is being launched following the success of Vegan Festival Lewes, which took place on World Vegan Day, November 1, 2018.
The event is free for all to attend.
Robert Stevens, the 19-year-old Sussex Vegan owner, said: “We hope to welcome another 1,000+ people to the college to explore what veganism has to offer.
“We have a fantastic line up of vegan-friendly businesses supporting the Vegan Festival Eastbourne in the effort to educate and inform.”
VegFund is helping to sponsor the event, which will see more than 40 exhibitors supplying everything from food to activities and information about societies that can be joined.
