A missing schoolgirl has been found safely after an urgent public appeal.
Mia Ulas went missing from Burgess Hill at 3.30pm on Monday.
Police said they were "extremely concerned" for the safety of the 12-year-old, who was seen leaving in her school uniform but had not taken her mobile phone with her.
PC Emily Beck had made an urgent appeal and asked the public to call 999 to alert them to her whereabouts.
Today she was found safely in Eastbourne, an hour away from her family home.
Police said: "We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who shared our posts."
