Brighton man hires himself out to be a naked cleaner

Daniel Aitken is more than ready to strip off before sweeping your floors and scrubbing your bathroom – all for £30 per hour.

The fit and confident 26-year-old, who lives in Brighton, is not shy to bare all and has decided to try to make a career of it.

He said: “A while ago I was talking with my auntie about the odd ways people make money. It seems naked cleaning is in demand now so I thought I would give it a try.

“I have advertised on Facebook to see how it goes and I have already received a few requests.”

Asked if he would be nervous about entering a client’s home au naturel, Daniel said: “My family and friends didn’t laugh or dismiss the idea.

“Of course, there were some who thought it was strange but I don’t mind putting myself out there. I am not nervous at all, really.”

Daniel, who has worked in construction and at a karaoke bar, is also offering a professional cuddling service for £45 per hour. That bit is fully clothed.

He said: “My ex-girlfriend and I were watching a documentary about this type of therapy in America and Japan.

“We decided to try it and it really took off. Basically, the service offers platonic companionship with the client.

“At the moment it’s not really well known in the UK. I have had numerous clients so far. I get a mixture of people, 50 per cent of them are women and 50 per cent of them are men.

“They are usually single mums or older men, and sometimes younger men request the service.

“The aim of professional cuddling is to give companionship or friendship. Some people feel lonely so all they want is just your company and somebody to talk to.

“If you go without human touch it makes you feel isolated. Sometimes clients ask me to meet them at a cafe or at their homes to watch TV or listen to music.

“Sometimes they want to have a chat or just listen to me talk. If this really picks up, I would like to open a cuddle cafe.”
