A BODY has been found at Beachy Head.
It was recovered earlier today by a Coastguard helicopter.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Coastguard have made us aware of the discovery of a body at the bottom of the cliffs at Beachy Head.
“They have assisted with the recovery of the body.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
Police worked with Eastbourne Coastguard.
A spokesman for the Maritime and Coastguard Agency said: “I can confirm HM Coastguard has been assisting Sussex Police with an incident at Beachy Head earlier today.”
