NEW jobs are being created across Sussex thanks to the growth of national housebuilder Bellway.
Bellway’s Kent division, which is based in Kings Hill, is preparing to start work on six new developments this year, including at Seaford.
The company is recruiting staff to carry out construction at these new developments, with opportunities also available for contractors and supply chain businesses.
Chris Moore, managing director for Bellway Kent, said the division’s growth reflected the strength of the regional economy and the local housing market.
He said: “We are delighted to be supporting the local jobs market with expansion in Kent and East Sussex, where our business continues to enjoy success.
“These new developments are creating new opportunities both for local workers and contractors and demonstrate the dynamism of the housebuilding industry at the moment.
“The need for new homes in East Sussex continues to grow and we’re pleased to be helping meet the demand from local home hunters.”
