Dead seal found on Saltdean beach
THE body of a dead seal has been washed up on the beach.
Dog walker Mikey Hong was out walking when he spotted the headless animal on Saltdean beach this morning.
He said: “My partner and I were out with our dog around 10am this morning when we saw it.
“It’s head was somehow missing or cut off.
“Very sad to see.”
Brighton and Hove City Council Seafront office are aware and are dealing with how to dispose of it.
A spokesman for the Seafront Office said: “The council are aware and we will report it to the Natural History museum as a deceased animal.”
