THE Friends of Sussex Hospices hosted a drinks party to show their appreciation to their supporters and update them on future events.
The event was held at Balcombe Place in West Sussex,
Guests were served Nyetimber English sparkling wine and Folkington’s sparkling elderflower, both donated, together with food, by Four Gables.
Chairman Kathy Gore thanked Fo and Charlie Martin for their hospitality and marvelled at the magnificent, welcoming space on a cold evening.
Business and corporate guests were invited to enter volunteer teams for a Gruffalo Fun Day on May 29 or Walk the Hospice Trail Corporate Challenge on September 1.
Friends of Sussex Hospices will celebrate its 25th birthday in 2020.
The charity is run entirely by volunteers who work to raise awareness and vital funds for all adult and children’s hospices across Sussex.
The charity recently announced it has distributed £2.6 million.
