AN inquiry has been launched into an incident after Hastings 1-1 draw with Whitstable when fans had to be locked in the bar to protect them from danger.
The episode allegedly involved home supporters and Hastings players which turned into a melee at full-time last Saturday.
Fans were locked in the bar and women were screaming as the drama lasted around three to four minutes.
At the final whistle, a group of Hastings players reportedly ran to the touchline to confront some home fans.
Hastings FC says the club is investigating the “very unsavoury incident”.
The FA is investigating as well.
