A MAN was stabbed in the back in a late-night attack.
The 20-year-old victim was followed by two men in West Street in Worthing at about 10.40pm yesterday.
One of the men then stabbed him twice in the back.
The victim ran into the Travelodge hotel in marine Parade for help.
A police spokesman said the man was then taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, police said.
Officers have now issued an appeal for information following the attack.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Anyone who witnessed the attack or has any information about it should contact police online or can call 101.”
