A MAN was stabbed twice in his lower back.
It is believed two men followed the victim, 20, in West Street, Worthing. One of them stabbed him from behind.
The man managed to run into the Travelodge hotel in Marine Parade to ask for help.
He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening and he was later released from hospital.
The incident happened on Sunday at about 10.40pm.
Detective Constable Mark Turner said: "We want to hear from anyone who witnessed the attack or has any information about it. Please get in touch."
