A MAN was seen bleeding from the head after a stabbing in the city centre.
The man, believed to be in his thirties, was seen leaving a property in Old Steine, Brighton, at about 12.30pm today, covered in blood.
He has been taken to hospital with head and face injuries.
Police and the South East Coast Ambulance were at the scene.
A passerby said: “I have just been standing outside the property and a guy came stumbling out with blood all over his head.
“It looked like he already had bandages on his head but there was blood all over his clothes.
“Paramedics took him to the ambulance and a friend was with him.
“There was quite a distressed woman with a baby, who I think was his partner, there as well.
“She was running about screaming”
A police spokesman said: “Police responded to a report of a stabbing at a property in Old Steine, Brighton, at about 12.34pm on Friday.
“A man, believed to be in his thirties, is reported to have sustained head and facial injuries.
“Enquiries are ongoing and there is no further information at this stage.”
