Two people were taken to hospital after a stabbing.
Sussex Police cordoned off Palatine Road, in Worthing, at about 11pm on Friday.
Ten police cars and South East Coast Ambulance Service were present.
It is not known at this stage who the people were and the nature of the incident.
There is no confirmation if any arrests were made.
Police and ambulance have been contacted for further information.
