A car crashed on the A24 in Southwater.
West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service, police cars and ambulances were dispatched to the A24 in Southwater at about 4.05pm.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: "We were called to an RTC.
"We sent four fire engines from Horsham, Billingshurst, Henfield and Worthing and we worked with the police to make the road safe."
