Spring has come to Brighton, and while the weather has been a bit colder than it was last week that hasn’t stopped social media posters from getting out and about to get those perfect pictures. Once again Jamie Walker has taken to Instagram to find the best and most fascinating photos from across Brighton to showcase on our weekly page.

1. A holy gig
Gigs in churches are absolutely incredible. Amazing acoustics and a stage set up that creates photos like this. This is Bledig playing at St Nicholas Church. Instagrammer @tiny_hugs posted this amazing photo
2. Amazing Andone
Last weekend was absolutely massive for the Seagulls. A 1-0 win over Huddersfield saw Chris Hughton’s men extend their gap over the bottom four. Goalscorer Florin Andone certainly loved his crucial goal. See @officialbhafc for more football pics
3. Picturesque Pier
It wouldn’t be an Instagram top ten page without a shot of the Palace Pier. This photo, taken by @b4hpr, shows the sun setting over the English Channel as the legendary Brighton landmark stands imposing in the foreground. There are few places in the world with such a view
4. Duke's delight
The @brightonupdaily Instagram page know exactly where to get the best pictures of the city. This week we feature their shot of Duke’s Lane, a favourite spot for so many in the city. While there are plenty of picturesque places in Brighton this is certainly near the top of the pile
5. Pup pal
Instagram famous dog @margotabouttown is quite the figure in the city, always turning heads when she gets taken out on walks. This picture shows her having a break in the city while shoppers walk in the background. She just loves being out and about, and in Brighton who can blame her?
6. Film crossovers
This Brighton-based make-up artist likes to experiment with different types of artwork. Here she is as film character Amelie but if she was in Slytherin house - one of the four houses at Hogwarts School in Harry Potter. See @makeupmouse for more cool designs
7. Kitty jealousy
This cat is absolutely adorable, so cute and fluffy. But he doesn’t seem too happy with his stuffed friend. See the @eric_and_ollie_ page for more cute kitty pictures
8. Sunset shots
Another great sunset shot over the sea, this time from Instagram user @joelthorpe. It is truly a stunning photo of the sun going down after another busy day in Brighton and there is something incredibly picturesque about moments like this. Luckily we have the medium of Instagram to enable these shots to be shared with the entire world.
9. Big wine glass
Instagrammer @melaniejadesigns likes to show off her interior designs on her social media page. Some of her interior work is pretty incredible and this room really is very well laid out. The thing that is most eye-catching though is the size of that wine glass. It is absolutely huge, surely holding an entire bottle of Shiraz or Chardonnay at a time. 10. Seafront snaps
This time we see Brighton beach during the day and it is still just as beautiful as it is at night. The waves lapping at the beach is something we all love. See @andilaudon for more.
