THE driver of a “distinctive” sports car is wanted after being involved in a hit and run.
The Porsche Boxster S was involved in a crash with a black Kia Cee’d on the A259, close to the junction with New Courtwick Lane in Wick, at about 6.10am on Tuesday.
No injuries were reported, but police are keen to identify the driver of the Porsche, which is uninsured and notified as off-road.
The driver is described as a man of mixed race, about 5ft 7in tall, with short, afro hair.
The same car has been posted on internet selling site Gumtree for £3,000 under the title "porsche boxster s matte black cheap".
The car has activated several Automatic Number Plate Recognition cameras in Bognor and Chichester in recent weeks, and officers believe the driver could be local to these areas.
Anyone with information is asked to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 156 of 19/03.
