Aged 43, of Lewes Road, Laughton, found guilty of drink-driving in a BMW in Ringmer in February. He had 79 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. Fined £1,050 and to pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Banned for 18 months.

Aged 38, of Pevensey Road, Eastbourne, admitted stealing groceries worth £126 from the Co-op store in Seaside in June. Given a one-year conditional discharge. Ordered to pay £126 compensation, £30 court costs, and £20 victim surcharge.

Aged 64, of Western Road, Lancing, admitted driving a Peugeot Bipper without wearing a seatbelt in Old Shoreham Road, Hove. Fined £70 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

Aged 19, of Cotswold Road, Worthing, admitted failing to stop at the scene of a road crash and driving without insurance. Fined £200 and to pay £30 victim surcharge and £80 court costs. Banned from driving for six months.

CHRISTOPHER KERSE

Aged 30, of Clun Road, Wick, admitted stealing Ted Baker gift sets from Boots in Bognor, assaulting a police sergeant in Worthing, and riding a cycle dangerously in London Road Bognor in March. Also admitted breaching a suspended sentence for two offences including carrying a knife. Jailed for 29 weeks and to pay £180 compensation.

Aged 50, of Gordon Road, Uckfield, admitted drink-driving in a VW Polo on the A26 at Church Hill in February. Had 76 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in her system. Fined £210 and to pay £85 court costs and £30 victim surcharge. Banned from driving for 19 months.
