PIERS Morgan was seen heckling a “stop Brexit” protester with a megaphone after he was interrupted on his talk show.

The presenter was busy talking on Good Morning Britain when anti-Brexit protester Steve Bray started interrupting yet another news bulletin.

Mr Bray, dressed in a purple hat with a yellow ribbon and draped in a Union Jack flag, had been preaching about Article 50 for days outside Parliament, protesting against Brexit.

Mr Morgan decided to launch a come back after the lengthy protests going on for days during his show.

He asked reporter Ranvir Singh, who was at the time trying to sum up political developments, if he could yell his own comeback at Mr Bray’s protest.

She advised against it but Mr Morgan, rather than agreeing to back down instead pulled out a megaphone and joined the Bray Brexit battle. The shouting forced TV presenters Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins, sitting next to the presenter, to cover their ears.

Mr Morgan, who is from Newick, shouted: “All right Steve, Steve, shut up about Brexit.

“Shut up about it. Nobody wants to hear from you. Be quiet about Brexit. You’re not going to stop it, it’s the will of the people, shut up, that’s it.”

Mr Bray stood in silence for a brief moment, apparently stunned by the reaction. But Mr Morgan continued.

He said: “All right Steve, see you don’t like it when we do it, do you – ruining your morning.

“Yes you, with the loudhailer, ruining every single one of our news broadcasts, now we’re ruining yours.

“Right now mine is bigger than yours. Right now you’ve been out megaphoned.”

As the debate came to a close Ms Reid said to Mr Morgan: “It’s not – his is bigger than yours, Piers.”

Mr Bray then continued the debate demanding to “revoke Article 50”.
