TWO suspected drug dealers are being held in custody after a police raid in a quiet street.

Police raided a property in Wolseley Road, Portslade, last night.

Neighbours said officers and sniffer dogs arrived shortly before 10pm, and have remained at the scene today while the investigation continues.

Police say class A drugs and cash were found inside, and said “a detailed search is continuing”.

They said two men, aged 31 and 57, were arrested elsewhere in Brighton on Tuesday, on suspicion of supplying class A drugs.

“They are currently in custody for interview and further enquiries,” the force added.
